This website is hosted by an external hosting provider (web space). Personal data collected on this website is stored on the hoster's servers. Each time this website is accessed, the hoster automatically collects so-called server log files, which your browser transmits (e.g. IP address, date and time of the request, browser type, operating system, referring URL). This data cannot be attributed to specific individuals and is evaluated solely to ensure smooth operation and the security of the system (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
This website uses web fonts (Fraunces, Inter, JetBrains Mono) that are hosted locally on my own server. No connection to third-party servers (e.g. Google Fonts) is established, so no personal data is transmitted to third parties.
If you send me inquiries via the contact form, the information you provide (name, email address, optionally phone number, topic, and message) will be stored by me for the purpose of processing your inquiry and in case of follow-up questions. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (processing an inquiry in the context of pre-contractual measures) and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in efficiently handling inquiries).
The form is technically submitted via Netlify Forms, a feature of my hosting provider Netlify, which receives the submitted data and makes it available to me via email notification and in the Netlify dashboard. Further information can be found in Netlify's privacy policy.
The data you enter in the contact form remains with me until you request its deletion, withdraw your consent to its storage, or the purpose for storing the data no longer applies. Mandatory statutory retention periods remain unaffected.
If you contact me by phone or email, the data you provide (e.g. name, contact details, content of the inquiry) will be stored and processed by me for the purpose of handling your request. The legal basis for this is Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR.
This website currently does not use tracking or analytics cookies. There is no collection of your usage behavior through analytics tools such as Google Analytics or comparable services.
Under the applicable legal provisions, you have the right at any time to free information about your stored personal data, its origin and recipients, and the purpose of the data processing, as well as a right to rectification, restriction, or deletion of this data. You also have a right to data portability and a right to object to processing carried out on the basis of legitimate interest (Art. 15–21 GDPR).
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority — for Hamburg, this is the Hamburg Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information.
